We should also like it made clear that no liability for reinstatement will attach to us. Do you think it worth while con- sulting the local Government on these points;

you will observe that they proposed, at an earlier stage, to divest themselves of the reinstatement liaoliity.

I should add, with reference to para.8 of the local government's letter, that we are not aware of final terms in respect of the triangular area and the officers' mess site naving been accepted by the Air Ministry.
